This past weekend kicked off the 2018 Asheville Homebuilders Parade of Homes. We are thankful to have our first ever entry in the Parade of Homes. We featured our Modern Farmhouse in Cane Creek this year. We would like to give a big shout out to all the folks that helped make this home the gem that it is!

This collaboration with Threadbanger, a popular YouTube channel gave us a great opportunity to showcase our skills and get a little exposure on YouTube! Rob and Corinne were fantastic clients and their vision is what made this project a special one.

Its been a minute since we've updated our blog. That's because we have a lot of exciting projects we are working on. One of which is a West Asheville remodel with a tiny home, which is also know n as an ADU (accessory dwelling unit). These ADU's are becoming wildly popular throughout Asheville, NC and they are especially desired in the tight confines of West Asheville. 

Our custom barn house project is coming along nicely. We have made great progress thanks to our great subs and detailed project management from Nate. The rough-ins finished smoothly and we quickly added spray foam insulation throughout. This house is sealed up tight and the energy bills will reflect this! Sheetrock soon followed and really made the great room pop! Its always nice to see how a space looks after the sheetrock is complete.

Our "barn house" project, as we have termed it, is coming along nicely. We have installed our aluminum clad Pella windows and doors, which look amazing in the all black color. The Soffits have been painted to match the windows with a satin black finish. The all white walls are really going to make this house pop once we get the siding up. This custom home features all kinds of interesting details inside and out. 

Our framing crew has been hard at work on our modern farmhouse project. We are almost completely in the dry and should be setting windows within a week. This house features an amazing great room with tons on natural light. We are super excited to see this custom home take its final shape. Stay tuned!

We are excited to be going vertical on this modern farmhouse in the Cane Creek area! Our framing crew is top notch and have made some great progress over the last two week! We decided to use the new Huber system foam floor glue and Quick-drive screw system to lock down the subfloor and ensure no pesky squeaks pop up. Roof trusses are schedule for next week so stay tuned for more progress updates on this custom home!

The concrete foundation walls are elegantly beautiful on this Cane Creek farmhouse! We are excited to see this one coming out of the ground. Thanks to Turnkey Foundations for putting in the extra effort to make sure these things were dialed in! Its really tough to beat the cast in place concrete walls for there longevity and structure.
