2018 Parade Of Homes!

This past weekend kicked off the 2018 Asheville Homebuilders Parade of Homes. We are thankful to have our first ever entry in the Parade of Homes. We featured our Modern Farmhouse in Cane Creek this year. We would like to give a big shout out to all the folks that helped make this home the gem that it is!

We are lucky to live in a builders market that produces some exceptional craftsmanship and thankful we are able to help keep the bar of excellence very high.

The feedback we received from this weekend was awesome! We had approximately 250+ visitors to the home and seeing there eyes light up when they walked through the door brought us a special satisfaction and is truly why we love what we do.

People really loved this kitchen and great room. The 21’+ tall ceilings give the space a grandiose feel when you walk through the front door. The simple and clean finished we choose throughout the house allow the space to feel welcoming despite the tall ceilings. The quarter-sawn white oak flooring was given a Bona matte finish, which compliments the matte finish of the concrete countertops we used throughout the project. The rubbed through vintage red island in the kitchen is the focal piece of the great room and adds an interesting flair to the space.

The fireplace surround is another highlight of this home, it features a white herringbone brick tile, a custom concrete mantle/hearth and continues up with a white oak herringbone pattern. The rest of the home is accented with similar finishes to ensure the simple consistency found within old farmhouses and to help keep cost down for this project.
